Babies galore!
And now for part II of our KL/Ipoh/Penang/London/NZ group gathering before the Londoners returned to their coop. This time in place of Siau Yen & Yoke Lim, we had Christine & Aileen. Kit Mun could only show up much later when most of the others had left.
This time we did a potluck at our place. There was Lydia's pasta that was wiped out soon after it was placed on the table, Tim's oh-so-silky braised chicken & salt-baked fish, hubby's tasty thai grilled chicken, su's sambal sotong that teamed excellently with MIL's nasi lemak while An Pheng tossed a salad and brought ice cream. Oh yes, Tim contributed a pannatone all the way from Milan too!
Later we had a photo session of all the babies with their respective mummies/granny & daddies. The biggest baby of all was Aileen of course!
The camaraderie was fantastic to say the least, with our small living & dining area being filled with adult chatter & babies babbling at the top of their voices. Looks like Krysta had also staked her claim on Dennis as she warmed up to him & started following him around the house. Actually I have a sneaking suspicion that it was mummy Yee Peng who conspired the whole thing as she had to hold Krysta's hands while the latter "chased" Dennis around.
All-in-all, a fantastic gathering & one that will stay for a long time in our memories.
Thank you, ladies & gentlemen!
